Renald Charron
Renald ‘Ron’ Charron’s Aikido journey began at the turn of the millennium, on his 51st birthday, January 9, 2000 with Sensei Russell Waddell and as part of the Jiyushinkai organization, led by Sensei Chuck Clark, in Lewisville, Texas.
In April 2018 Ron Sensei was promoted to the rank of Yondan (fourth degree black belt), a milestone that reflects not just years of practice, but a commitment to continuous learning and growth.
Today, he continues his journey with Parker Sensei at the Silva Academy. Over the years, what was once called Aikido has evolved into what is now called Aikibudo. This shift reflects a deeper exploration—not just of techniques, but of the underlying principles of all martial arts. Ron Sensei leads his students in refining movements, understanding nuance, and discovering how small changes can yield significant results.
